Kids size calculator

Set the birth year and today's sizes. The numbers build on how kids grow on average, so read them as direction, not promise.

The pace is real: in the first year, a clothing size lasts about three months. At four, a size holds closer to ten months, and a ten-year-old often gets over a year from one. Shoes turn over faster, around half a year per size at four.

The average says nothing about your particular child: two healthy siblings can sit a full size apart at the same age. The calculator gives a direction; a tape measure in the hallway gives the answer.

Stillfits keeps the numbers for you: today's sizes, the next size and the buy list, shared with whoever you shop with.
